I've said it before, but I'll say it again:

I believe wholeheartedly in learning for and through communication.

Languages are tools, and Portuguese isn’t different.

And as a learner, you’ll want to speak with people.

The ability to talk to your friends and loved ones in their language is priceless. It helps you bond together, and I can show you how you can do that quickly and efficiently.

If you are just getting started, here are some posts I urge you to check:

And, if you have been learning Portuguese for a while, please read:

Here’s a little more about me:

I have over two decades of learning experience in the field of language and linguistics. I haven't worked in countless Brazilian schools — only three, of which two are colleges — but I've taught personally more than 200 students one-on-one and more than 500 students combined in my classrooms.

I like piano, writing, drawing, and sports — four activities I dabble into but have never been good at.

Currently, I work with a small team of me and our managing editor, Rodrigo, and I live with a ferocious cat named Jane and a whacky dog named Evita (after former first-lady Evita Perón, because my doggie is also a Perrón!).

Anytime you need anything, we'll be here to help you.

Cringeworthy me, trying to be fun but botching it (I’m fun in real life, though)
